I was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario to two loving engineers as parents. Now based in Toronto, I'm still torn on who to cheer for when the Sens play the Leafs. I graduated with two degrees; an Ivey HBA and a BEsc in Software Engineering from Western University because I loved the intersection of Business, Economics, Product, Design, Engineering, Finance. I tried internships in many specific fields to find one role that would fit me best. Eventually I realized that I'm not meant to pursue a highly specialized role and ignore my other interests. That's what led to various failed startup attempts, and eventually HotTakes, where I currently am building the future of responsible iGaming acquisition with my co-founders. If you've read this— thank you sincerely for taking the time to understand me a bit better. This will be the last iteration of my blurb until either I pivot my career focus, or a big event happens with the current business.

I worked alongside professionals from the Western University Student Success Center. I Prepared and delivered weekly sessions containing topics of leadership to a group of sixty first year engineering students. My goal was to create a safe virtual environment for students to unwind and socialize amidst a pandemic, resulting in a satisfied group that each developed their own toolkits with skills gained from my mentorship.
I worked with the owner of a Vancouver based children's magazine with revenues to prototype and create CAD models for a toy she wanted to launch, as well as creating market analysis reports and financial projections to perfect the specifications and pricing of the toy. This one might come from a love of film and film techniques. I uploaded my first video to YouTube as a self taught editor (it's really embarrassing) in 2011. I've had a decade to perfect my Adobe Photoshop, and After Effects Skills.

Trained for an entire summer to help ease a first year's transition into university and residence life. As a Soph my job was to provide emotional support, academic guidance, and mentorship throughout the year to a group of about 30 students in the engineering class throughout the entire school year.
Occasionally rehearsed and arranged performances at a local retirement community to entertain and cheer up residents. Declined a paid position offer to continue playing the music I loved and see the bright smiles of residents hearing classics from their childhoods.
